CSTAt the beginning of the year, all American families who depend on government assistance are aware of how the terms, deadlines and eligibility of the programs have been modified in order to continue receiving them. In some cases, they find that in these months they could well receive some of the benefits of these programs. This is the case of the Sacramento Family First (FFESP) pilot program, with which the government of the Californian city offers financial relief to families affected by the high costs of inflation, with a stimulus check of $725 per month for one year, which began in December last year and will run until November 2025.As stated, it is a one-year program, so beneficiary families must remain in the city and state, otherwise their payments will be suspended, and these are sent to the bank accounts associated with their tax returns. The only requirement for eligible families is that their income must be below 200% of the federal poverty threshold. All the details from the historically high Alaska direct paymentsAnother of the stimulus payments expected by a specific community arrives in February for residents of the state of Alaska, with its Permanent Fund Dividend paying out from the proceeds of mineral royalty investments to benefit current and future generations.According to the official PFD website: “The dividend calculation is based on the number of eligible applicants in a dividend year and one-half of the statutory net income averaged over the five most recent fiscal years. Available funds are also reduced by prior year dividend obligations, PFD operating expenses and other allocations for state agency programs. The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation is responsible for investing the principal balance of the fund.”The only requirement to be eligible for a PFD is to have been an Alaska resident for the entire previous calendar year and to intend to remain an Alaska resident indefinitely. The amount of the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend is $1,702 and is delivered according to this schedule published by the official site:Dividend requests for 2024 (and earlier years) that are in “Eligible-Unpaid” status on January 8, 2025, will be distributed on January 16, 2025.Dividend claims for 2024 (and prior years) that are in “Eligible-Unpaid” status on February 12, 2025, will be distributed on February 20, 2025.Dividend requests for 2024 (and earlier years) that are in “Eligible-Unpaid” status on March 12, 2025, will be distributed on March 20, 2025.
