Re: “Time to get real about renewables” (Dec. 17, Opinion):Here is the reality: Burning fossil fuels and emitting greenhouse gasses will warm the Earth’s atmosphere with disastrous results to every living creature, including humans. There will be no positive consequences in the worse warming scenarios for anyone, and untold billions will die premature deaths.Renewable energy sources must become feasible, even if it means drastic reduction of energy consumption by everyone.
