The Clean Ganga Mission also stands out as a successful project aiming to create jobs while addressing environmental concerns,” says Sumit Pathak, CEO of Linus International FZCO who has been dedicated to optimising green jobs through sustainable growth and innovative practices. According to the International Labour Organisation, changes in energy production and consumption could lead to millions of new jobs globally, with India projected to create 3.7 million new green jobs by 2025. With the potential to generate as many as 35 million jobs by 2047, the Indian green economy is on the brink of transformation. “Sectors like renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation are bound for tremendous growth,” Prakash notes. India ranks third globally in renewable energy capacity and is one of the largest producers of solar energy.
