Gemini, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange enabling users to buy, sell, stake and store digital assets, has strengthened its senior European management team to support its “significant expansion in the region in 2025”.This expansion will be led by Mark Jennings and Daniel Slutzkin, who have been appointed to head of Europe and head of UK respectively.Gemini names new European headsJennings, who joined Gemini in December, previously served as CEO of Crypto Facilities, a subsidiary of fellow crypto exchange Kraken. His resume also includes serving as COO of True Arrow Capital Management and head of operations at TPICAP.Slutzkin, meanwhile, moves from Australia-based broker Stake, where he was UK country manager, specialising in US-listed equities and ETFs.According to Gemini, Slutzkin’s experience in “guiding a business through the UK regulatory authorisation process will be invaluable as we continue to expand our retail and institutional offerings in the UK and beyond”.In addition, the crypto firm has promoted Vijay Selvam from general counsel for the APAC region to international general counsel, based in the UK, and hired former N26 Italy MD Claudio Bedino as head of consumer growth for Europe.
