Business-to-business (B2B) fintech startupMysaon Wednesday said it has raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round led byBlume Ventures.The Bengaluru-based company said it will use the funds to build its core platform capabilities, expand the team and accelerate customer growth.The financing round saw participation from Emphasis Ventures (EMVC), Antler, Neon Fund and CIIIE, and angel investors Sriharsha Majety (Swiggy), Mohit Kumar (Ultrahuman), Naiyaa Saagi (MyGlamm), Nitin Gupta (Uni Cards) and Nishith Rastogi (Locus).Mysa, founded by Arpita Kapoor and Mohit Rangaraju, offers a unified finance and banking platform designed to help mid-sized businesses—those with annual revenues or spending between Rs 10 crore and Rs 300 crore—manage theirfinancial operations.The platform integrates banking, finance operations and accounting, connecting financial workflows such as bill collection, tax compliance, payments and enterprise resource planning (ERP) synchronisation into a single system.To strengthen its banking capabilities, Mysa has partnered withYes Bankto provide integrated current account operations.Discover the stories of your interestBlockchain5 StoriesCyber-safety7 StoriesFintech9 StoriesE-comm9 StoriesML8 StoriesEdtech6 StoriesThe company has onboarded companies across sectors, including DPDZero, Kouzina, Guru & Jana, Swish and Rigi.Mysa said it aims to address challenges faced by mid-sized companies, which often rely on fragmented legacy banking and ERP systems, which do not meet modern business needs. Increasing compliance requirements and stricter financial controls from investors have also heightened the demand for real-time financial accuracy, it said.”We are just getting started. Mysa aspires to run the banking and finances for the largest GDP contributing companies of India,” said Kapoor.As part of its expansion, Mysa has secured a registered investment advisor (RIA) licence from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi).The company has also developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tool, Mysa Smart Scan, which generates contextual narratives for bills, predicts due dates and categorises expenses.”Mysa is a much-needed solution that tackles the day-to-day challenges in banking and finance that many Indian companies face,” said Joseph Sebastian, associate vice president at Blume Ventures. “By streamlining these processes, Mysa will usher in a new era of efficiency in costs as well as on controls.”
