CSTDue to the rising cost of living and inflation, many low- and middle-income American families rely on economic stimulus programs, and one of these programs was launched in California in late December, so the third payment is expected to be distributed this month.A total of 200 households are among those benefiting from the Sacramento Family First (FFESP) pilot program, which aims to improve the well-being of children in eligible families and reduce economic inequality. The program offers a direct monthly payment of $725 for one year, which began on December 15, 2024, and will end on November 15, 2025.Stimulus check: Who is eligible to receive a payment of $600 in February?This Saturday, February 15, the third payment is scheduled for beneficiaries, who will receive the support through a direct deposit to the bank accounts associated with their tax returns.Although the 200 families have already been selected for Sacramento Family First, if the pilot program is successful, it is likely to continue next year and the Sacramento Department of Child, Family and Adult Services indicates that the main requirement to receive this stimulus check is to reside in specific zip codes: 95815, 95821, 95823, 95825, 95828 and 95838.In addition, families must have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and have at least one child under the age of five, and cannot participate in other guaranteed income programs.These are the steps to follow to be eligible for the $725 stimulus check:Eligibility: Residents of specific zip codes in Sacramento with a household income at or below 200% of the FPL and at least one child under the age of 5.Payment amount: $725 per month for a year via a stimulus checkApplication period: While the initial application period has closed, future opportunities may arise.Additional requirements: You cannot be participating in other guaranteed income programs.
